The extensive documentary on NASA’s Apollo missions will be blasting off to Blu-ray this August.
In an early announcement to retailers, Image Entertainment says ‘In the Shadow of the Moon’ is coming to Blu-ray on August 10.
The documentary is directed by David Sington and includes a wealth of interviews with surviving astronauts who journeyed to our Moon.
The Blu-ray will feature 1080p video, a DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 soundtrack, and supplements will include: Feature Commentary with David Sington, David Fairhead and Chris Riley, Ron Howard Film Intro, Scoring Apollo: A Short Feature with Composer Philip Sheppard, Bonus Interviews and Stories, Ron Howard: Inspired by Apollo, and a Theatrical Trailer. The “Dirty Dancing: Limited Keepsake Edition” — out on DVD ($29.98) and Blu-ray ($34.99) today — marks the first version of the summer-in-the-Catskills romance released since Swayze’s death last year of pancreatic cancer. I have tried to finish watching Traffic several times before but it turned out that I just turned on my DVD player and then sat back on the sofa killing about three hours aimlessly. Then I would wonder what Steven Soderbergh, the director of this movie and also one of the biggest film makers in Hollywood, was doing after his two “Ocean´s Eleven” sequels.
On a long trip, I would also watch this movie to kill the immense time. Yes, pretty sure, don’t be puzzled. I just rip and convert the original DVDs with a DVD ripper which is available online. I just download and install that iToolSoft DVD Ripperfree on my computer and add the DVDs into this program, then choose the target video format.
